कृष्ण – बाल कृष्ण लीला
भारत की सात प्राचीन और पवित्र नगरियों में से एक है मथुरा। मथुरा में भगवान कृष्ण का जन्म हुआ था।
किसी ने कृष्ण के मामा कंस को बताया कि वसुदेव और देवकी की संतान ही उसकी मृत्यु का कारण होगी अत: उसने वसुदेव और देवकी दोनों को जेल में बंद कर दिया। कंस उक्त दोनों की संतान के उत्पन्न होते ही मार डालता था।
भविष्यवाणी के अनुसार विष्णु को देवकी के गर्भ से कृष्ण के रूप में जन्म लेना था, तो उन्होंने अपने 8वें अवतार के रूप में 8वें मनु वैवस्वत के मन्वंतर के 28वें द्वापर में भाद्रपद के कृष्ण पक्ष की रात्रि के 7 मुहूर्त निकल गए और 8वां उपस्थित हुआ तभी आधी रात के समय सबसे शुभ लग्न उपस्थित हुआ। उस लग्न पर केवल शुभ ग्रहों की दृष्टि थी।
रोहिणी नक्षत्र तथा अष्टमी तिथि के संयोग से जयंती नामक योग में लगभग 3112 ईसा पूर्व (अर्थात आज से 5126 वर्ष पूर्व) को हुआ हुआ। ज्योतिषियों के अनुसार रात 12 बजे उस वक्त शून्य काल था।

Mathura is one of the seven ancient and holy cities of India. Lord Krishna was born in Mathura.
Someone told Krishna’s maternal uncle Kansa that the children of Vasudev and Devaki would be the cause of his death, so he imprisoned both Vasudev and Devaki. Kansa used to kill the children of both of them as soon as they were born.
According to the prophecy, Vishnu was to be born as Krishna from the womb of Devaki, so he took the form of his 8th incarnation in the 28th Dwapar of the 8th Manu Vaivaswat’s Manvantar, in the night of the Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada, 7 Muhurat passed and the 8th appeared only then. The most auspicious lagna appeared at midnight. Only auspicious planets had vision on that ascendant.
Due to the combination of Rohini Nakshatra and Ashtami Tithi, the Yoga called Jayanti took place in about 3112 BC (i.e. 5126 years ago from today). According to astrologers, 12 o’clock in the night was zero time at that time.
